As a Toronto-based wedding photographer, I have the privilege of witnessing extraordinary love stories. Vasilisa and Aleksandar's wedding is a tale that has left an indelible mark on my heart.

The day began in the quaint city of Hamilton, where Vasilisa, adorned in her wedding gown, was preparing for the day surrounded by her loving family. In the midst of wedding preparations, a touching moment unfolded as she cradled her son Lav, a testament to the beautiful blend of motherhood and the anticipation of marriage.

Aleksandar, accompanied by a chorus of friends, arrived at Vasilisa's side, filling the room with joyful melodies. His presence brought an undeniable sense of calm to Vasilisa, who found solace in the arms of her best friend.

The gathering at their apartment was an intimate prelude to the grand ceremony at the St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church. The atmosphere in the church was nothing short of magical as Vasilisa and Aleksandar exchanged vows, officially becoming partners for life.

Following the ceremony, we ventured to Dundurn Castle for a captivating outdoor photoshoot with the couple and their friends. Despite the chilly weather, the love between Vasilisa and Aleksandar warmed every frame.

An unplanned extension allowed us to capture a private moment, a couple's only photoshoot. Their connection was palpable, resulting in breathtaking images and unforgettable memories.

The festivities continued at the Burlington Convention Centre, where the night transformed into a celebration of love, complete with song, dance, and heartfelt laughter. Vasilisa's surprise opera performance added an extra layer of enchantment to an already spectacular evening.

As the night unfolded, it became evident that Vasilisa and Aleksandar share a love that transcends time. Their story is not just a union of two souls but a symphony of love, laughter, and the joyous melodies that resonate through their journey.

I feel immensely grateful to have been part of this chapter in their lives. Meeting not only Vasilisa and Aleksandar but also their little one, Lav, was a joyous experience. As Lav continues to grow, these photographs will serve as timeless reminders of a day filled with love, music, and the magic of two souls becoming one.
